This is a Full Time Job
Bleecker Street Media is looking for a talented and passionate film lover to join our team in a fast-paced, creatively dynamic studio PR department. This role will report to the SVP, Publicity and help execute multiple film PR campaigns annually. This is a newly founded in-house publicity department and the coordinator role will have the opportunity to grow and learn all aspects of managing PR campaigns for a diverse slate of titles from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the overall administrative responsibilities of the PR department
• Coordinate talent and filmmaker travel for film publicity campaigns
• Compile and send out press breaks, reviews, and reactions to film teams
• Maintain talent and filmmaker schedules
• Liaise with external agencies on campaigns
• Staff and help manage talent at events including premieres, press days, festivals, and awards events.
• Send and track screener links, and coordinate DCP shipments for screenings and events
• Work closely with the SVP of PR to strategize and brainstorm creative angles and ideas for dynamic PR campaigns
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years work experience in Film or Publicity
• Motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking and time management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is crucial, as well as great communication skills
• Basic knowledge of the film industry and enthusiasm for film required
• Must be able to work with various levels of talent, filmmakers, and press, in a professional manner
• Must know that PR is not a 9-5 job and be willing to work evenings and weekends
