This Live Producer role is a leadership position on a highly-collaborative team. The ideal candidate for this position is adept at both leading elevated live productions, as well as managing AP's & PA's in a direct-report capacity.This person must be an avid sports fan who keeps up with relevant storylines in the sports landscape. This position requires someone who communicates exceptionally well & can prioritize their own tasks .Must be OK with intermittent travel & irregular hours – the nature of live sports coverage requires occasional nights/weekends/Holidays. Your Role Accountabilities...
• Line-produce elevated digital shows in accordance with Bleacher Report's editorial standards, sense , and style
• Lead long-form live podcast-style productions hosted by current athletes, as well as oversee the post-edit process in coordination with Social & Programming
• Ideate around topical storylines in sports to help determine the content of live shows
• Interface with on-air Talent, both remotely and in-person, to align on content goals
• Manage the day-to-day schedule & long-term career path of direct reportsQualifications and Experiences...
