Bleacher Report has released several animated series across social media platforms. The series are different in animation style, premise, and length, but they deliver in commenting on their sport in a humorous manner that allows fans to connect to their favorite players in a new way.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Bleacher Report is hiring a temp Head Writer for a new season of Hero Ball. The Head Writer will help establish the tone and subject matter of the new comedy series that's inspired by the energy and look of classic anime. Applicants should have knowledge of both the NBA and the tropes of anime. This is a temp role that has a specific end date.
Qualifications and Experience…
• 5+ years of comedy writing experience
• Animation experience a strong plus
• Extensive NBA knowledge for both the game and culture
• Extensive anime knowledge for both the medium and culture
• Experience leading writers rooms
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deal with last minute challenges
• Familiar with screenplay formatting standards

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
