BR Premium Stream Post-Production: Production Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America
Your New Role
The Premium Stream Production Assistant is an entry level position which will play a vital role in creating the VOD offerings from Bleacher Report's Premium Live Productions, with a focus on longform streams.
This person will work within the live production team to both edit and produce quick-turn social videos from Bleacher Report's slate of video podcasts. This role is perfect for anyone looking to create content in line with trends across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube & Twitter, while honing their skills as a long-form video podcast producer.
Must be OK with irregular hours – nature of Live Sports coverage requires occasional nights/weekends.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Provide production support for BR live productions
• Lead edit sessions of VOD offerings for YouTube and the BR app
• Edit short, social videos and partner with B/R's programming team to distribute
• Identify moments during live streams that deserve elevation to social platforms
• Collaborate with a team of producers and programmers to promote content
Qualifications and Experiences
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere with experience in video editing for social platforms
• Familiarity with the TikTok platform and its content sensibilities
• Avid sports fan who keeps up with relevant storylines in the sports landscape
• Creative with awareness of Bleacher Report's voice and the voice of our podcast hosts
• Great attention to detail and creative mindset
• Strong communication skills -- calls, email, Slack
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
