Animation Associate Producer (Temporary) Location: New York, New York, United States of America
Your New Role... We are looking for an experienced Associate Producer (Temporary) to join the animation team at Bleacher Report. The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting producers from pre-production through post on our football series Gridiron Heights and our NBA series Hero Ball. The AP will also coordinate across departments to ensure deliverables and materials are being managed properly. Your Role Accountabilities...
• Supporting creative and production producers through all aspects of production
• Compiling extensive research for each show while keeping up to date with the latest sports news and industry trends
• Organizing and tracking projects in pre and post production
• Taking detailed notes in writer's rooms and production meetings
• Maintaining department wide documents
• Scheduling department and cross-department meetings using Microsoft Outlook
• Obtaining episode sign off from legal and quality control teams
• Supporting producers in maintaining production schedule
• Sharing daily schedule, ensuring that production meets milestones and deadlines
• Track and manage deliverables, creating closed captions for episodes
• Liaise between departments to manage assets
• Assist with voice talent process; gathering casting submissions, scheduling recording sessions - Qualifications & Experience...
• The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced production environment, ideally within 2D animation.
• A creative mindset with the ability to collaborate, pitch ideas and provide thoughtful feedback. Thrives in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
• NBA and NFL sports knowledge is strongly preferred
• Ideally a TikTok expert
• Knowledge of digital post-production process with basic video editing skills (Adobe Premiere preferred) How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
