Flame Online Conform Artist

This is a Full Time Job

Blast Global Media is seeking a finishing Flame Artist to join our team.

This role is a hybrid position, working remotely and in LA-based facility. The perfect candidate needs to be dependable, enjoys collaboration and is flexible with fast turnarounds. They will work closely with the post-producing team and the team of finishing artists in achieving the highest creative and technical standards of work.

Main Duties
• Working with offline edits to conform with final source material and graphics.
• Execute paint/compositing of shots that require fixes or enhancements.
• Execute color adjustments with a good eye for color.
• Organizing media for archiving and liaising with data services to ensure the space is managed efficiently on the Flames
• Supporting the head of production and Producers in bidding projects.
• QC and Mastering
What You Bring

• Knowledge of working with timelines, conforming and mastering deliverables
• A strong sense of compositing, color, design, and a thorough knowledge of the film industry and motion picture marketing.
• Knowledge of file formats and compression methods
• Knowledge of cleanup, beauty work, element integration, and matte painting
• Comfortable in a client attended sessions.
• Extensive knowledge of extraction techniques of bluescreen and greenscreen
• Solid knowledge of both VFX and finishing in Flame
• Knowledge of Tracking software
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Deliver work within established project targets and the high-quality standards of the company.
• Pro-active and an excellent communicator
• Ability to thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Knowledge and experience of HDR are a big plus.

Key Qualifications

You have a proven ability with 5+ years of experience as a Flame artist.

Skills: sequence conforms, general compositing, screen compositing/replacement, clean-up, logo removal, wire removal, roto/paint, adding/removing reflections, plate reconstructions, beauty work, image stabilization, color correction/grading, grain removal, grain matching, camera/object tracking, image stabilization, dust busting, image restoration, time and speed morphs, edit conform, image up-rez, frame rate conversions, and project archiving.

Expertise

Autodesk Flame. Davinci Resolve is a big plus. HDR experience is a big plus. Knowledge of After Effects, and Photoshop.
