This is a unique opportunity to learn about documentary production, funding, and distribution from the ground up. You will gain exposure to production and post-production environments, as well as learn the business behind independent documentary filmmaking. You will be an essential part of the team.
Responsibilities span from research, post-production workflow, and fundraising, to general office/admin-related needs. Interns will also have the opportunity to manage our marketing campaigns via social media networks.
Requirements: Minimum 4 months commitment and reliable transportation for local candidates.
Qualifications:
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Highly-organized
Research skills
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Adobe CC
Knowledge of macOS
Preferred, but not required:
Working knowledge of social media platforms
Experience with cold calls/emails
Film editing and/or graphic design
LOCATION: Home office in the Silverlake area
HOURS: 3-days per week; in-person - 9:30am-6pm PST
Start Date: Approximately early-September 2026
End Date: Approximately mid-December 2026
This is an unpaid internship; however, we offer college & professional credit.
