Management Coordinator

Black Bear Pictures is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Management Coordinator to join our growing Management Department. The coordinator will work closely with an intimate team, supporting a roster of writers, directors, and actors.

Responsibilities:
• Research and identify open projects and opportunities for writers, directors, and actors across film and television
• Proactively reach out to producers, casting directors, creative executives, and other industry contacts to gather information on projects, roles, staffing opportunities, and upcoming needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts and serve as a professional representative of the department
• Become deeply familiar with the department’s clients, including their creative interests, experience, relationships, and career goals
• Monitor industry news, announcements, projects, casting, and other developments to identify potential opportunities for clients
• Assist managers with project research, script coverage, casting research, and other creative/development materials
• Maintain organized client, project, submission, and contact tracking systems
Provide administrative support to the managers and department as needed

Qualifications
3+ years of talent management or agency experience
Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills
Strong instincts for identifying talent/project pairings and understanding what makes a client right for an opportunity
Able to quickly learn and retain information about a large roster of clients
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
Genuine interest in writers, directors, actors, film, and television
