BINDER CASTING is offering a full time internship. We are seeking intelligent, hard-working, and organized self-starters with a passion for the entertainment industry to start as soon as possible and stay through the summer. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn about casting at a full-service office while working on theatrical, commercial, and film projects. For more information on what we do please visit our website.
Intern Responsibilities can include: answering phones, copying and scanning, sorting/opening mail and submissions, maintaining our office database, creation and organization of audition material, running errands, monitoring auditions, internet research, taping auditions, general office support, and other duties as assigned.
Previous office/administrative experience is VERY important. We love tech-savvy individuals that have familiarity with Mac computers, the Microsoft Office suite, and video/camera equipment. An immaculate attention to detail is an absolute must, as well as a professional and pleasant phone/e-mail demeanor, a positive no-job-too-small attitude, a sense of humor, and above all a desire and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Our interns gain experience in a busy office, an understanding of the casting business from several different angles, and exposure to top industry professionals. We provide a $100/week stipend as well as an unlimited Metrocard for the duration of the internship.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a FULL-TIME internship. Our office hours are 10:00AM - 6:00PM, Monday through Friday, at our office in Long Island City, Queens. Please do not apply if you are not available full time. No exceptions can be made.
