Big Time PR is looking for a smart, reliable intern with an amazing work ethic and a sense of humor. We are a boutique agency in LA handling a variety of entertainment and lifestyle accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative duties such as rolling calls, maintaining executive calendar, creating client schedules, social media, calendar listings, filing, and occasional runs. You will work daily with the Senior Executives of the company. This is an ideal position for someone looking to learn the ropes in the PR/entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
REQUIREMENTS
-Work approx 15-20 hours a week for at least three months in the office
-Available for college credit
-Must have a car and laptop
RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS:
-Manage calendars
-Heavy online research in the entertainment field
-Book travel (flights/hotels/cars/taxis/couriers, etc)
-Field phone calls during working hours
-Accuracy and timeliness in execution of assigned tasks
-Ability to balance priorities for the efficient flow of work
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to draft correspondence with minimal direction
-Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
-Expert in multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing a must
-Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Excellent judgment and demonstrated problem solving capabilities
-Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism
-Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and Google Drive (Cision a plus)
-Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new responsibilities
