Overview:
The Big Ten Network is seeking an On-Campus Multiplatform Video Producer/Editor (MVPE) at the University of Maryland. This role supports the ideation, creation, and production of Maryland Athletics content for BTN platforms, focusing on digital and social media opportunities. The MVPE reports to the Chicago-based Manager of Digital.

Responsibilities:
• Produce and deliver Maryland Athletics video content for BTN’s digital, social, and broadcast channels.
• Collaborate with digital managers and coordinators to create content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Optimize pre/post-production for social media sharing.
• Produce long-form storytelling content for BTN's franchises (e.g., wrestling, volleyball, women’s basketball).
• Cover real-time Maryland Athletics news and live sporting events.
• Act as BTN’s digital advocate within the Maryland Athletics Department for editorial integration.
• Occasionally perform field producer duties on ENG shoots.
• Manage video inventory and share assets with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Experience: 1+ years of producing digital video content and familiarity with relevant techniques.
• Technical Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D software.
• Knowledge Base: Maryland Athletics, Big Ten Athletics, and pop culture.
