Ojai-based Big Picture Ranch environmental film studio (which made the Netflix film, 'Kiss the Ground' with Woody Harrelson) is offering a 6 month mid level distribution and film post gig starting in April and running to September. We are looking for someone with experience in DISTRIBUTION. This is an intensive, all-in, team effort with an energetic, can-do, positive, highly motivated, mission oriented, respectful, awesome, fun, and collaborative team which is in a race to clear a major eco doc for distribution and get 1 billion viewers in order to affect major world change. We are looking for people who understand there is no ''I'' in team, who want to use their skills to make a difference in climate and environmental issues, who are willing to be trained and developed, and who bring skills including: photoshop, social media posting and tracking, video editing, communication (ie not being afraid to pick up the phone and being great on the phone), spreadsheets, working hard, driving long distances, organizing production equipment and occasionally being on set as production coordinators and assistants. This is not a fancy job and our film studio is also a working farm and ranch so there are chickens, llamas, and lots of nature (ie applicants should be ok with getting their shoes muddy sometimes). Applicants should be prepared to live at the ranch either in a tiny house or airstream type trailer. Pay based on experience.
