Intern Position:
The Film + TV department at Big Deal Music Group is looking for a capable and detail-oriented intern for the fall of 2019. Tasks will include updating our contacts database, tagging and evaluating songs, music research, film and television research, and various organizational/administrative tasks. The intern will assist on creative organization for weekly servicings to music supervisors. Potential interns should have an interest in music publishing or creative licensing (i.e. music as it relates to film, television, video games, etc). This is not a paid internship.
Qualifications:
• Excellent leadership, communication (both written and oral), and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs
• Experience in the entertainment/media industry is beneficial
• Passionate about music as it relates to other media (film, television, video games, etc)
• College credit required
• Able to work 15 - 20 hours per week
• 3 month minimum commitment preferred
• Personal laptop required
• Dependable transportation required (preferably your own car)
