Social Content Producer & Digital Editor
Bevinars Media
New York (Manhattan), NYThis is a Freelance Job
Social Content Producer & Digital Editor (Flexible Schedule)
Nationally Distributed Television Series | Part-Time | 6-8 Hours/Week | Remote U.S. or NYC Hybrid
We don't need someone to tell us to post more. We need someone who sees one strong piece of content and immediately thinks: That's not one post. That's six.
Our host has historically been much better at doing things than posting about doing things. That's where you come in.
The Job:
Your job is to find more value in the material than the obvious first use.
A 90-second video might become a Reel, Short, 20-second cut, Story, carousel or LinkedIn post. Maybe the best opening is buried 37 seconds in. Maybe an old photograph contains a better story than something we shot yesterday.
You'll edit and package short-form content, write hooks and captions, publish across channels, resurface strong older material and track what works.
The harder part is judgment: learning the host's voice, recognizing what's actually interesting, knowing what not to post, and distinguishing smart repackaging from simply repeating the same thing everywhere.
We want someone who takes ownership, solves small problems without being chased, and occasionally comes back with something better than what we asked for.
You'll also use AI intelligently to research, edit, organize and improve the work. We don't want AI slop. We want AI leverage.
You may be our person if...
You're a producer, video editor, digital journalist, social creative, creator or unusually resourceful recent graduate.
You write well, have a good ear for voice, can edit short-form video, and are comfortable with Canva and modern editing tools.
You don't need a conventional social-media background. You do need curiosity, reliability and evidence that when someone hands you raw material, you make more of it than the next person would.
This can work well alongside another job, freelance practice, family responsibilities or another primary pursuit. The hours are limited. Our expectations aren't.
You'll work directly with the principals of a nationally distributed television series and help build its social operation from the ground up. If you're excellent, there's room for the role to grow with the show.

Email your résumé and the exercise below. Only applications submitted by email will be considered.
1. Find one social post or video that dramatically outperformed the creator or account's typical content. Send the link and, in 150 words or fewer, explain why you think it worked. End with one specific hypothesis you would test based on what you found.
2. Teach yourself something. Choose one current social-platform mechanism, growth tactic, algorithm change or AI tool you don't already understand well. Research it. In 150 words or fewer, explain what you learned and how you might apply it to growing a television series or creator-led brand.
3. In one sentence, tell us about something you became unusually curious about recently and what you did to satisfy that curiosity.
Applications that skip any part of the exercise or ignore the word limits will not be reviewed.
We care less about whether you already know every answer than whether you have the curiosity, discipline and ingenuity to go find one.
