WITCH by Jen Silverman
Directed by Jada Godwin
Renberg Theatre | October 23, 2026
Bethesda Repertory Theatre is seeking a Master Carpenter to help build the scenic elements for our upcoming production of Witch by Jen Silverman, directed by Jada Godwin, at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre.
This is an unpaid artistic/production opportunity.
We're looking for an experienced carpenter who can help construct stationary scenic flats based on the Scenic Designer's plans. You should be comfortable working safely and efficiently with standard theatrical construction techniques. The ability to interpret scenic drawings and execute a clean, sturdy build is important.
Own tools are required. Access to your own shop or workspace is a major plus. Bethesda will provide approved lumber and other necessary materials.
Commitment
The primary commitment will be one build day, with the date determined collaboratively based on availability. Additional communication with the Scenic Designer and Production Manager may be needed beforehand to review plans and materials.
You'll receive professional production credit and the opportunity to work directly with the Scenic Designer and production team on a full theatrical production at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This is an opportunity to add professional theatre work to your résumé or portfolio, collaborate with other LA theatre artists, and become part of Bethesda's growing production community, with potential opportunities for future collaboration.
