Reports to: Managing Director & Producers
Dates: April 1 - June 23 (Dates Flexible)
Hours: Average of 10 hrs a week (Remote/In Person)
Rate: Unpaid
Job Description:
Bethesda Rep is currently seeking a social media intern to assist in marketing our spring/summer production of The Rhythm of Mourning, as well as other Bethesda related content. We are looking for a passionate individual who has knowledge of social media platforms and tools, and feels confident in generating engaging content.
In this role, responsibilities may include:
Assist in managing and monitoring social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Create engaging and relevant content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content
Monitor social media trends, news, and best practices to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement
Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Attend rehearsals and performances in order to take pictures and videos for social media content.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for community building and cultural engagement
Ability to work as part of a team from various levels and backgrounds.
