Reports to: Casting Director
Dates: May 1 - July 31 (Dates Flexible)
Hours: Average 10 hrs a week (Remote/In Person)
Rate: Unpaid
Job Description:
Bethesda Rep is currently seeking a Casting Intern to assist in our upcoming spring/summer shows. We are looking for passionate individuals to play an active role in the casting process for our mainstage shows and workshop series. They will assist and work collaboratively with our Casting Director.
In this role, responsibilities will include:
Tracking auditions, submissions, callbacks and reminders to talent
Collecting, reviewing, and editing submissions, and address any technical issues
Writing and monitoring casting breakdowns
Practicing inclusive casting
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and project management abilities
Passion for community building and cultural engagement
Ability to work as part of a team with various levels and backgrounds.
