PA SCRIPT TO BE PROVIDED:
Good evening and welcome to Shirley Povich Field at Cabin John Regional Park for tonight's Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League game between the Gaithersburg Giants and YOUR Bethesda Big Train. We hope you're as excited for tonight's game as we are, and we hope you have an outstanding night at the ballpark.
Don't watch the game on an empty stomach. We have lots of options including the Hot Dog Truck, the Grand Slam Grill, and the Home Run Cafe, all powered by Catalyst Hot Dogs.
Visit the Home Run Cafe behind the Miller & Long Grandstand for cold drinks, ballpark favorites like peanuts and Cracker Jack, and pizza from Gregorio's Trattoria. You'll find the new Grand Slam Grill behind the Third Base Grandstand, serving amazing burgers, pulled pork, and plant-based options. Big Train's favorite gourmet hot dogs can be found at the Catalyst Hot Dog Truck on the concourse.
Skip the line this year! Scan the QR code found in your Game Night Program and on stickers located all over the ballpark to order from your seat! Order food from your mobile device, get a text when it's ready, and pick it up from the Home Run Cafe. There's nothing better on a baseball night than our favorite longtime frozen treats; Bruster's Ice Cream behind the first base grandstand.
National Anthem Audition:
GUIDELINES FOR YOUR AUDITION:
• Intro your video with ''My name is [Insert Name]'' and spell your name.
• Your video should be current. Please record a new audition video rather than submitting a recording of a past performance.
• Your video should not be any longer than 2 minutes.
• Participants should be dressed as if it was a game day and you were performing live on the field. Dress attire is recommended.
• Review your audition video before submitting.
PERFORMANCES:
• Video Recording Devices (phone, computer, camera) should be in a secure position and should only focus on individuals' upper body (waist up).
• Your audition needs to be acapella. Audio tracks should not accompany your talent.
• Your audition must be performed without the aid of sheet music.
TIPS FOR YOUR AUDITION:
• While backgrounds are not required for specific set-ups, finding a solid-colored wall in a private area will give you the best focus and sound quality.
• Be mindful of background noises. Avoid any auditory distractions such as animals, kids, traffic, etc.
• Use a naturally lit room with the majority of light on you. Try not to set up your camera with light coming from behind you.
• Practice! Because you are filming at home, you can take as many tries as you would like. Be sure to submit the video that you are most proud of.
