Overview & Responsibilities
BET Digital is looking for an individual who will be a key part of the Audience Development team. We are looking for someone who is a creative, growth-oriented, and data-driven marketer with a proven track record of developing audiences and growing engagement on YouTube. This individual will be passionate about using data to inform creative decisions and broaden our audience reach, engagement, and growth across our YouTube channels. The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience planning, launching, and analyzing video content on YouTube.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute impactful audience growth campaigns across BET's YouTube channels to drive awareness, growth, and engagement
• Develop a deep understanding of the BET's YouTube audiences to formulate audience growth strategies based on content performance
• Guide the content team with the best strategies for crafting content audiences are responding to based on audience insights and platform research
• Channel management and video optimization using YouTube standard methodologies
• Utilize YouTube analytics to ensure maximum performance as well as to monitor the success of videos and adjusting strategy based on real-time insights
• Communicate performance benchmarking and optimization opportunities to teams within the BET Digital organization as well as to various counterparts in ViacomCBS
• Research and share new industry trends, audience shifts, competitive social media wins and ensure that BET Digital remains up to speed with new platform offerings
Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
• At least 5-7 years of experience working with social media data to identify key metrics that indicate growth potential, executing social media campaigns that lead to significant audience growth, and proven success of building reports to help distribute quantitative findings to various constituents in an organization
• Firm knowledge of analytics platforms (YouTube CMS, YouTube Studio, AdWords, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, social media insights platforms such as Sprinklr
