The Senior Manager, 360 Marketing helps to develop the overarching marketing strategy across all platforms, including positioning, key objectives and KPIs of each plan.
Responsibilities
include the development of strategic positioning and comprehensive briefs for all BET Brand priorities– including linear programming, experiential, social/digital, influencer, PR and off-channel initiatives. The candidate should have experience in partnering with and managing a media agency.
The individual should have a comfort level with understanding research and analytics in an effort to create content and marketing plans that are informed by audience data. In addition, the role requires oversight of campaign analysis and lessons learned. This includes developing KPIs for external agencies/partners.
This hire will work closely with all departments to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for all key initiatives. In addition, the Senior Manager will assist the Director and VP in partnering with the Brand Insights and Audience team to initiate research, obtain strategic knowledge for each series, and translate research findings into actionable creative and promotional strategies. The position reports to the Vice President, Brand Strategy and Marketing.
Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee the strategy planning for series launches, both linear and digital.
• Define and communicate strategic positioning for series and tentpole events throughout the organization.
• Create and communicate the Creative Brief to creative teams.
• Initiate projects in accordance with the programming calendar and marketing needs.
• Collaborate with show producers and creators to ensure strategic buy-in on promotional direction for series launch campaigns.
• Utilize and leverage the Brand Insights and Audience team to strengthen strategic briefs, leveraging audience insights and qualitative and quantitative testing
• Manage the budget associated with each work stream and ensure spend is in alignment with budget parameters.
• Work in close alignment with Director and Coordinator, and maintain frequent check-ins with VP, Brand Strategy and Marketing.
Basic Qualifications
• 7 years holding Brand Management/Marketing/Media/Strategy positions.
• Demonstrated capability in strategy development, media planning and execution, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree recommended.
