Video QA Specialist (French Billingual)

Purpose: The purpose of the French Bilingual Video Production Proofreader is to maintain the company's voice in a consistent, professional, error-free, and industry-leading manner. Video Production QA's goal is to ensure that all forms of video are accurately displayed for the company's integrity and customer satisfaction.

Tasks and Activities:
• Interacts with multiple departments (Post, Product Development, etc.) to ensure accuracy and consistency of editorial content and graphical and technical elements
• Report building and issue tracking
• Develops procedures for implementing QA corrections
• Other Bilingual QA/proofreading duties as assigned

You'll need to have these skills and experience:
• Fluent in Parisian French with excellent grammar
• A BA in English or a related field
• 3 years of proofreading experience (preferably on-screen proofreading)
• Experience establishing and working with style guides
• Must have worked with teams to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Combines critical thinking, practical experience, and ability to reason in a holistic approach to problem solving
• Experience with subtitle testing and verification, strong grammar skills, and proofreading in both English and Parisian French
