Job Summary
Beachbody's Post-Production department - a team of 60+ editors, assistant editors, graphic artists, quality assurance experts and coordinators - has an opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of Digital Imaging Technician (DIT). The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that media is properly recorded, managed and transferred according to specifications, and for interfacing between Production and Post to establish camera LUTs and communicate all relevant information between the teams. Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere and Creative Cloud, Da Vinci Resolve and ShotPut Pro are essential to succeeding in this role. Core Responsibilities
• Work closely with directors and DPs to create LUTs and handle all media
• Supervise media manager or transfer media from set/location to Post-Production
• Represent Post-Production in on-set discussions about filming, transferring and editing content
• Spot check and test footage, including multi-cam synchronization
• Edit clips and create exports for initial reviews
• Stay current and on top of latest cameras, formats, technology and related materials
• Troubleshoot technical issues
Required Skills
• 2+ years' experience in Production and/or Post-Production
• 2+ years' experience with Apple Mac Pros and OS operating systems
• Strong experience with editing, transcode and transfer software and applications, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, Da Vinci Resolve and ShotPut Pro
• Solid understanding of media formats, use of LUTs, codecs and transcodes
• Ability to manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations and maintain deadlines
• Ability to communicate concisely and collaborate efficiently with Production personnel and Post-Production teams
