Post-Production Desktop Support Technician
Beachbody's Post-Production department - a team of 40+ editors, assistant editors, graphic artists, quality assurance experts and coordinators - has an opportunity for a qualified individual to fill the role of Desktop Support Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining all Mac and PC computer workstations and associated software, primarily Adobe Creative Cloud, that are part of Beachbody's video post-production workflow. The Technician will be the on-site point of contact for team members who are experiencing hardware or software issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join a dynamic, fast-paced team in a growing and prestigious organization. PLEASE NOTE: THIS JOB WILL REQUIRE TECHNICIAN TO WORK ON SITE AT POST PRODUCTION FACILITY IN EL SEGUNDO, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist personnel with configuration of system hardware and software
• Offer daily on-site support for a team of 40+ working remotely
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades as directed
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person and via zoom/phone
• Assist Engineering team in on-going archive activities.
• Research existing remote workflows as well as help support and develop new workflows
• Perform other responsibilities as required and as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Years of relevant experience: 2 years
Education required/preferred: high school or bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Must have a strong understanding of Mac operating systems
• Experience with editing and design software, primarily Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines, developing clear priorities quickly
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and interact smoothly with other team members in order to solve problems
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
