Part Time Unpaid Internship
The internship will start from June and end before September. You'll need to Zoom meet with Producer and/or Development Executive usually twice per week. The total work hours should be around 5 to 10 hours per week.
We offer academic credits.
What you need to do:
-Script coverage. Provide notes and creative feedback to different scripts.
-Research. Research for contact info and details of professional individuals as well as companies, and maintain the database and spreadsheets for those.
-Build and update creative materials, including but not limited to basic pitch decks, one-pagers, and newsletter through Google Slide or MailChimp. You don't need to be adept at designing.
-Assist Producer and Development Executive for other needs.
What we want to see in you:
-You're open-minded about conducting different kinds of tasks;
-You're proactive and are good in time-management, since sometimes you'll do your work on your own time;
-You don't have to major in film, but we want you to be passionate to learn or interested in films, filmmaking, and storytelling.
What you can get from interning for us:
-Academic credits if needed;
-You get to be creatively involved with BarBHouse and its projects;
-You may sit in certain meetings with established filmmakers and production companies, and get to explore filmmaking from development to funding and further.
