Temporary Financial Analyst

Job Purpose

Banijay Americas seeks a Temporary Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team on a up to 6 months basis. Primary responsibilities will include monthly reporting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting and analysis of multiple business units and providing senior management with timely and insightful financial information to manage the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes (Incudes reporting the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Intercompany, and comparing actuals to forecast/budget)
• Preparation and submission of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Preparation and submission of monthly cash flows
• Maintain monthly forecast files and analyze variances in Revenue/Cost/SG&A
• Monthly departmental cost analysis
• Coordinate and communicate with various business units/departments
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as needed

Skills/Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree required (Preferably in Finance, Accounting or equivalent)
• 0-1 year relevant work experience
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, SumIfs)
• Attention to detail and organized
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Quick learner and self-starter

Position Compensation

This temporary positions compensation is $35.00 an hour/ with a general 40 hour work week expectation.
