Hiring Organization :
Job Purpose:
seeks a detail-oriented and deadline-driven Payroll Coordinator for a fast-paced entertainment industry environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing all aspects of weekly and semi-monthly multi-state payrolls for non-union employees.
Essential Responsibilities
• Accurately process payroll for corporate employees under multiple entities using ADP software, including calculating wages and handling hourly records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local tax laws, labor regulations, and tax withholdings
• Maintain and oversee accurate employee records, process new hires, terminations, status and pay changes, manage benefit enrollments, deductions, time off accruals, etc.
• Perform day-to-day payroll operations, and handle employee questions via email, phone or in-person.
• Prepare multiple semi-monthly and monthly reports for the Head of Human Resources.
• Perform audits semi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly to ensure accuracy of payroll processing.
• Reports to Lead Payroll Administrator and Head of Human Resources
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience for a multi-state employer with multiple locations.
• Experience with ADP, TriNet, and Integration with Workday is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal wage and tax laws and overtime regulations are required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on top of deadlines.
• Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Projected Payroll is a plus.
• Television production payroll experience is a plus.
• Flexible personal style to work with diverse personalities. Professional, yet personable demeanor.
• Ability to effectively communicate information to employees and management.

Salary/Benefits
$31.25
per hour
