Job Title: Host / Hostess

Location: The Basilica of Saint Mary, Minneapolis, MN

Contract Dates: November 2025 – February 2026

About the Event: LUMINISCENCE is an immersive, multi-sensory cathedral experience that has captivated over 400,000 guests across France. The 2025 U.S. premiere takes place at The Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis, inviting audiences into a timeless journey through sacred stories brought to life with 360° video mapping, live music, and transformative visuals.

Position Summary: We are hiring a team of up to 10 Hosts and Hostesses to warmly welcome guests, provide front-of-house support, and ensure each evening runs smoothly. As the first impression of the experience, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for the event.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy live events, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and warmth
• Scan tickets using mobile ticketing systems
• Distribute programs and assist with guest seating
• Answer general questions and offer guidance to attendees
• Assist with light setup and tear-down duties each night

• Comfortable working with the public in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communicator and team player
• Previous event, hospitality, or customer service experience a plus
• Must live in or near Minneapolis

Work Schedule:
• Must be available for the entire 4 months between November 2025 and February 2026
• Evening shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (approximately 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM) with possible addition of Wednesday and Sunday depending on ticket sales

Compensation:
• $20/hour
