Banijay America's new premium production label BD4 is a collaboration with Award winning filmmaker and executive Daniel Silver. With this innovative partnership, Banijay Americas adds a new vertical to its portfolio to meet the demand for premium documentary storytelling. BD4 will support bold storytellers who approach documentary storytelling with a commercial lens. As CEO, Silver aims to pioneer the art of genre documentary storytelling by mining distinctive and broadly familiar structures and tropes from mainstream and populist genres to aid in project selection and development to prioritize audience engagement and enjoyment. Leading with joy, surprise, and delight, BD4's projects will be a refreshing celebration and redefinition of genre narratives.
Responsibilities
• Maintain project tracking grids for multi-format documentary and scripted/unscripted projects, ensuring constant communication with BD4's CEO and key stakeholders.
• Prepare pitch materials, presentations, internal grids, and ad hoc research assignments.
• Reviewing incoming proposals, treatments, video submissions, and providing thoughtful feedback and evaluation for the team to consider
• Identify new creative opportunities (new talent, stories, short films, articles, etc) for the department to pursue.
• Track the competitive landscape, update producer/director lists, and check availability.
• Handle roll calls, answer phones, and maintain a call sheet for the CEO.
• Schedule meetings, prepare expense reports, and coordinate travel.
• Represent the department professionally and liaise with executives, talent, agents, and managers.
• Provide administrative support to visitors and tactical support to productions.
Skills and Capabilities
• Strong critical thinking skills, a creative mindset, and appetite for content.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience at a Studio, Network, Production Company, or Talent Agency
• Working knowledge of the major players in the industry, including the companies, major executives, producers, and directors.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Mac & Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe, Illustrator).
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships and ability to interface with varied levels of management
• Passion and insight into the Entertainment landscape - brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
• Exhibit a positive, proactive, resourceful, and adaptable attitude, coupled with strong emotional intelligence and a collaborative spirit.
• Proven ability to work across a matrixed organization while also able to self-motivate.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects in varying stages of development in a fast-paced environment.
Education
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferably a degree in English, Communications, Cinema/Television or related field.
Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
Compensation range: $60,000 to $65,000 annually depending on experience.
