Assistant, Temp (In-Office - Hollywood, CA - March/April 2024)
This is a Part-Time position at $20.00/per hour, depending on experience. Employment will be in-office (3-days per week) at our Los Angeles Area (Hollywood, CA) offices.
BanditJones seeks an Assistant to support development and production executives. This is a high-profile position which includes both administrative and creative duties. Expanding BanditJones television development and production slate is a priority, and this position will assist with those efforts. BanditJones remains committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Your Role on the Team:
Support executives and producers of BanditJones and connected projects in all facets of their duties and responsibilities covering areas of development and production. Carry out standard, sophisticated, and confidential administrative duties that may require experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and procedures. Other day-to-day duties and special projects as assigned.
Typical days are 8-hours long: 90% of the time will be spent working at a personal desk. Work week is 3-days per week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, excluding weekends, nights, and observed corporate holidays. Hours are 9AM to 6PM (PST) with a 1-hour lunch period. Located in Hollywood, CA.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Serve as a brand ambassador when meeting and guiding visitors, studio executives, and talent around the lot; and assist with managing their visit.
• Arrange various meeting logistics, such as preparing necessary rooms (i.e. conference room, screening room, stage/studio etc.) for meetings.
• Maintain schedules for executives' numerous day-to-day events such as, setting up conference calls, attending in-person meetings, handling internal and external meetings, and project deadlines.
• Handle the producers and executives' timeliness by ensuring they are timely for each call and meeting, take diligent notes in meetings, and build action item lists where needed.
• Share updates and information, and offer support, both on the studio side and project-by-project/show-by-show.
• Serve as a reliable contact between internal and external partners, communicate high priorities to the executives in a timely manner while working.
• Prepare correspondence (memos, emails) as required; prepare reports and manage spreadsheets; analyze materials and documents, recognize data and information, and effectively communicate information.
• Archive and organize files, contracts, and documents, while maintaining professional confidentiality when handling private and personal information.
• Maintain systems, documents, databases, and other aspects of company infrastructure.
• Complete ad hoc projects, as needed, for executives.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries.
• Arrange and deliver gifts on behalf of BanditJones.
• Manage and organize office supply inventory and kitchen necessities.
• Uphold and conduct work within the standards, procedures, and culture of BanditJones Code of Conduct and Core Values.
• Special assignments may be assigned which may include different functions and responsibilities.

We'd love it if you also had:
• A High School Level education, or equivalent, and a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Personal Vehicle and a valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 1-year office experience, preferably working in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience, supporting at an corporate level within the entertainment industry.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with using the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective & professional communication skills.
• Experience working in confidential environment due to being in a celebrity talent work location.
• Bilingual is a plus (Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean)
The anticipated base salary for this position is $20/hour. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
