Oriole Park at Camden Yards is entering its 30th season as the home for the Baltimore Orioles. The one-time railroad center is located in the heart of Baltimore's Inner Harbor and only 2 blocks from the birthplace of the legendary Babe Ruth. It is the first of the ''retro'' style major league ballparks and is often referred to as ''The Ballpark that Forever Changed Baseball.''
The Baltimore Orioles are seeking highly motivated individuals that are looking to further their careers in the Sports Turf Industry for the 2022 season. Oriole Park at Camden Yards is a 100% Kentucky Bluegrass surface maintained in the heart of the transition zone. This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of field maintenance at the professional level.
Duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, edging, sodding, clay repair, infield maintenance, fertilizer and sprayer calibration/application. In addition, applicants will get to set up, work, and experience non-baseball events (Corporate events, movie/commercial shoots, concerts, etc.)
Applicants must be able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays. Individuals must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is an hourly paid, seasonal position that is available March 1st and runs through December 1st.
