This is a hands-on opportunity to help launch an independent film and work directly with the filmmaker on a grassroots marketing campaign.
What you'll help with:
Creating and posting social media content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Cutting short-form clips, reels, and other promotional assets
Creating simple graphics and release materials
Reaching out to wildlife organizations, influencers, podcasts, media outlets, and potential partners
Brainstorming creative ways to build awareness around the release
Helping coordinate collaborations and keep track of outreach
Finding interesting moments from the film that can become social content
Who we're looking for:
Someone creative, organized, proactive, and genuinely interested in social media, filmmaking, documentaries, wildlife, conservation, or entertainment marketing.
Experience with Premiere, Photoshop/Canva, social media management, or short-form video is a plus, but you don't need to know everything. More important is having good instincts, being willing to pitch ideas, and wanting to help get an independent film in front of an audience.
You'll work directly with the film's director/editor and get real experience with the marketing and distribution of an independent feature documentary.
Timing: September-October 2026, with the possibility of continuing beyond the initial release.
Location: Remote / Los Angeles

399 Forever is an independent documentary that chronicles the final year of the world-famous Grizzly 399. The film has achieved sold-out screenings across the West and has won Best Documentary at multiple film festivals. It is now preparing for its national streaming release on October 16.
