B Live is an innovative digital content creator that enables its clients to execute complex digital experiences around live events with ease. Located in the ever-expanding Industry City in Brooklyn, easily accessible from the D, N, and R trains. We have 13 hard-working employees that range from video directors, developers, account managers, and producers.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Gather social media access and creative live postings
Consult, setup, monitor, execute social media streaming, posting for clients
Project Management
Organize streaming and digital project requirements
Work with team to create workflow for each project
Live Streaming
Setup, monitor, configure encoders for events (remote & onsite)
QA of digital platforms
Identify technical issues and addresses internally or through vendors
Learn and operate all equipment and systems used to broadcast the livestream, available for all live streaming events and regularly scheduled live streamed events (hours/days vary)
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information and Technology, Studio Production, or related field Vocational School or related experience.
CS Degree is a plus
1-3 years experience working in live production
Strong technical skills
Must be a strong collaborator and communicator
Strong attention to detail
Quick problem solving skills, able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with software-based live switching tools, such as Wirecast, OBS, vMix, Livestream Studio, etc.
Knowledge of Hardware based switchers (ATEM, Tricaster, ROLAND V8, etc) a PLUS!
Experience streaming RTMP signals to destinations such as Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, etc.
Understanding of broadcasting, video encoding equipment, video codecs, and live video delivery systems
Social media and web marketing savvy - on top of technology trends and constantly up to date, able to instruct team and customers on best practices
Knowledge and expertise in the latest gear, programs, equipment, and best practices in Event and Live Stream Productions
