Awesomeness is seeking an Audience Development Analyst to manage internal reporting and tracking for organic and paid content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter for Awestruck, the emerging lifestyle entertainment brand for millennial moms and women. The ideal candidate has experience providing reporting to internal stakeholders and/or to external clients and is comfortable synthesizing social and digital video data and providing actionable insights in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc formats to producers, advertisers, and executives.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in Excel, have familiarity with platform best practices, and understand insights for both paid and organic performance. You are able to discover patterns and trends in data and identify KPIs to tell stories that promote platform growth and content optimization.
You will be will be responsible for monitoring content and platform performance on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. and must be able to convey social media analytics and learnings verbally and in written sentences.
Responsibilities:
-Deliver timely, accurate and effective analysis and reporting work with internal stakeholders to identify valuable metrics, KPIs, and social media benchmarks; provide metrics that matter, in context
-Use data-driven insights to develop and implement best practices for each platform
-Work directly with paid media team and the account management teams to track and measure promoted posts and ad campaigns; evaluating opportunities for optimization and new content based on analysis
-Work with account teams to develop custom reports according to campaign or project including social listening insights, creative analysis, and more (monthly, quarterly, year end, ad hoc, etc.)
-Create and maintain trackers and social listening monitors (booleans and automated)
-Participate in weekly meetings with internal teams
-Collaborate across marketing channels to drive brand goals, analyzing market and competitor trends and various other industry projects
Requirements:
-2-3 years experience in marketing analytics/reporting with a focus on social media and digital video.
-Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret and summarize complex data and drive actionable recommendations and insights
-Experience with social and digital analytics platforms and tools (Sprinklr, ListenFirst, Tubular)
-Detail-orientated and exceptional organizational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
-Required proficiency in the following; Excel, Keynote, Google Drive, Dropbox
Bonus Points:
-Experience building reports in Tableau
-Experience planning or executing paid media campaigns
