Major NY Film casting office has a position for a full time assistant starting within two weeks. Ideally looking for someone passionate about movies who has experience with casting or working with actors and knows how to quickly do simple video editing. Description:
• Top casting director who works on wide variety of independent films (all budgets) to Oscar Winning Director Studio Tentpoles is looking for a full time casting assistant.
• Need to know how to edit quickly in iMovie. Pull Video from various sources and transcode.
• Organizing & managing large volume of media.
• High volume phones.
• Familiarity with agents and actors preferred.
• A plus if familiar with casting uploading services but not required.
• Does well under pressure in high volume / fast paced / environment.
• College graduate.
