Aviron Pictures is an independently financed Los Angeles-based entertainment company specializing in the marketing and distribution of a diverse slate of talent and story-driven theatrical film releases. The studio is managed by a team of respected and successful Hollywood veterans and collaborates with experienced filmmakers to shepherd their motion pictures to the screen and through home entertainment and ancillary markets.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who can commit two to three days per week for a hands-on internship in the acquisitions department, which is responsible for tracking and identifying the films for the company's distribution slate. The internship responsibilities include reading screenplays, writing script coverage, attending acquisitions screenings and general office duties in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates should be passionate about film, detail-oriented, have a professional demeanor and be able to work well under pressure and with absolute discretion. Prior entertainment experience of any kind is a plus. The position is unpaid and candidates must be eligible to receive college credit.
