Full Time Job
Pineapple Street Studios is looking for a highly motivated, organized and creative Social Media Manager & Marketing Coordinator to join its team. The position will be responsible for creating and executing paid and organic podcast social campaigns, as well as working to improve Pineapple’s overall social media presence and long-term branding goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with Pineapple’s marketing/PR/creative teams, as well as various production teams, to generate and implement marketing campaigns, visual identity, and social assets. The ideal candidate will be excited to promote Pineapple across all social platforms, cultivate engagement, and grow audiences.
The Social Media Manager & Marketing Coordinator will ideally have strong writing and copy skills, as well as the ability to hone in various tones that capture the variety of genres/shows on Pineapple’s slate. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced and collaborative environment working across multiple titles.
Position to be based ideally in NY.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Manage and responsible for overall social strategy and day-to-day campaigns.
• Work closely with creative & production teams to onboard shows, create show identity, artwork, show campaigns and assets (in conjunction with the marketing manager).
• Brainstorm and collaborate with our creative team to design content and assets to be used across various Pineapple platforms.
• Collaborate workflow streams between creative and production teams, ensuring information and assets are created/delivered within given timelines.
• Ensure that campaign strategies position Pineapple across social media platforms, generating measurable reach and growth in share of voice.
• Maintain short-term show specific campaign goals (paid and organic), and long-term brand goals simultaneously.
• Identify and hone Pineapple’s voice and tone across various shows/genres and marketing channels.
• Work with Marketing Manager to capture and create Pineapple’s style and voice guide.
• Create and maintain an editorial social calendar on a consistent basis.
• Increase brand awareness and engagement; cultivate community and grow audiences on social media.
• Drive traffic to Pineapple’s website and convert podcast listenership.
• Interpret analytics and metrics, using learnings and insights to inform future campaigns.
• Develop Pineapple social KPIs and benchmarks, both short and long term goals.
• Create pre and post launch reports covering key performance metrics.
• Maintain and update the website for new shows.
• Maintain and update the show release calendar.
• Pull and document metrics, charts, social highlights, etc.
• Research competitive markets.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• General knowledge or interest in the podcast industry/market.
• Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects at once and work across geographically-dispersed teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as you’ll be working with talent, creative, and production teams.
• Excellent writing skills, strong self-editing skills with attention to grammar, punctuation and tone.
• Responsive and reactive communication in a timely manner, especially on social media platforms.
• Awareness of latest internet trends, memes, conversations, and culture of each social media platform.
• Understanding and usability of social platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
• Ability to balance desires of various stakeholders and priorities.
• Works collaboratively, with multiple people of different opinions, backgrounds and experiences.
• Enthusiastic about creating an equitable workplace.
• Design layout a plus.
• Knowledge of Sprout Social, or adjacent social insights/analytics software.
• 3 years working experience in social media desired.
