Audacy Washington is looking to fill the position of Executive Producer of Play by Play for 106.7 The Fan and Team 980. This is a full-time salaried position.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Oversee play by play broadcast operations for multiple local and national play by play broadcasts across multiple stations
• Produce imaging and sponsor billboards and interface with sponsorship sales regarding scripts and feature sponsorships
• Studio Produce multiple sports play by play broadcasts
• Train studio staff to produce play by play broadcasts
• Schedule satellite receivers
• Create playlists and handle automation
• Record and edit game highlights
• Upload highlights to ftp site
• Record interviews with players, coaches etc.
• Additional duties required during off-season
Qualifications
About You:
Required & Preferred:
• Experience producing and engineering play-by-play broadcasts for professional sports teams
• Successful track record working with sports announcer talent is required
• Experience with remote broadcast operations including field equipment, ISDN and IP CODECS, and cellular delivery platforms
• Must have results driven approach to organize, plan, manage and execute assignments with minimum supervision in demanding situations
• Must be Customer service orientated with ability to effectively communicate.
• Must enjoy sports and have a working knowledge of how sports play by play radio broadcasts are run
• Ability to take and give feedback - A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to identify colors, use close and distant vision, visually focus, hear, balance, sit, walk, bend, touch/feel, carry up to 50 pounds, climb, squat, crawl, stand, lift, push/pull, reach, twist and turn.
