Full Time Job
Audacy seeks an Event Director to join their promotions and experiences team. This position directly supports the Director of National Experiences for all aspects of live events Production for music, lifestyle, and sports events across the country. The position will assist in all of the aspects of in-person and virtual event execution, including timelines/deadlines, pre-sale/on-sale, promotional support and marketing, artist/talent advance, production advance, budget, publicity, sponsor integration, and of day of show production, etc.
This opportunity can sit in either: New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or Miami
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Support event operations and execution
• Assist with Artist advance
• Help manage budget and Production invoicing
• Venue communication
• Ticketing support
• Contractual services
• Support clearing publishing for live and virtual events
• Vendor procurement and equipment rentals
• Event Marketing
• Liaise with Sponsorship & Activation teams to fulfill any/all required sponsor integration into the Production of the show or artist/Talent engagement.
• Help ideate and identify sellable assets
• Event staffing
• Internal communication
• Manage day of show timelines, including load-in and schedules
• Provide support of best practice and policy to local markets and events as requested
• Insurance compliance
• Travel including air, hotel, and ground for staff, artists, winners, and sponsors.
• Other duties assigned by manager
Qualifications
More About You:
Required:
• Three to five years of experience producing successful large-scale in person event experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
Preferred:
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
• Excellent budget and financial management skills
• Experience using G Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Basic website HTML, layout and design knowledge
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Graphic design experience helpful
• Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Experence using ticketing software, such as TM1 and TicketSauce
• Occasional night or weekend work
