We’re hiring a skilled, self-motivated Content & Show Producer for Bru and “The Bru Show,” Audacy’s nationally syndicated talent. This person is able to put out strong work on tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate has an interest in music and pop culture. On a daily basis, they will pitch story ideas, edit audio segments, arrange and organize interviews, write scripts, and work closely with the show’s host during recordings. The Producer will help to manage “The Bru Show” social media presence with a music and pop culture focus. In addition, the Producer is someone who is comfortable working in a self-motivated environment, and is interested in all facets of daily show production. They have sound audio editing judgment, take pride in their work, and have a high attention to detail. They have a background in audio production and/or daily show production. Video production is a plus, and a sense of humor is also encouraged!
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Work collaboratively with the show’s talent on all aspects of content & production.
• Research and pitch segments and/or topics on a daily basis.
• Book/Organize guests interviews for recordings In-Studio or on Zoom.
• Prep hosts for daily live-to-tape recordings, and pre-taped segments.
• Help to manage “The Bru Show” social media pages and posts to syndicated radio stations.
• Manage post show Podcast content & production.
• Manage & Edit daily show audio content for national distribution to syndicated radio markets.
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
• Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Interact well with LIVE on-air talent and be a problem solver
• Have 1-2 years experience in the entertainment field
• Take direction and coaching
• Have a strong work ethic
• Be detail oriented, well organized, and self motivated
• Managing Talent’s needs, such as live endorsements, interviews, social posting, etc.
• Live in the greater Los Angeles area
Additional Information
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000/yr to $65,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
