The anticipated starting salary for Las Vegas-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $67749.24/yr.
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as inernal and external equity.

Overview:
Audacy has an opening for a talented radio broadcast engineer for its five-station cluster in our Las Vegas, Nevada market. This is a hands-on position with emphasis on proven engineering skills.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Maintain, inspect and repair all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, satellite downlinks, and uplinks, network infrastructure, automation systems, studio equipment, AOIP networks, UPS’s, remote control equipment, generators, VOIP and telephone systems.
Provide support 24/7 in case of equipment failure; available to work various hours/days, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain the integrity of all on-air and on-line products, including high power FM HD, AM, Audio Automation, digital audio & audio streaming.
• Help to Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, antennas, STL, satellite downlinks, studio equipment, remote equipment, generators and backup power systems, telephone system and related equipment in keeping with good engineering practices.
• Install and maintain broadcast IT systems at studios and transmitter sites, such as WideOrbit, Axia, SAS, Nautel and Gates transmitters and associated software and hardware including workstations and servers..
• Handle telco problems and cross connect in-house circuits.
• Generator testing, fueling and supervision of maintenance.
• UPS testing and supervision of maintenance.
• Effectively communicate and partner with local management, programming staff, technical operations, content operations, and outside vendors.
• Assist in remote broadcasts.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• Minimum 2 years broadcast engineering experience.
• IT networking skills preferred.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
• Ability to provide support 24/7 in case of equipment failure; available to work various hours/days, including weekends and holidays.
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check.
• Strong verbal and writing communications skills.
