Associate Showrunner, Cadence13 Originals & Features
Cadence13 is looking for an Associate Showrunner for Cadence13 Originals and Features. The role is an opportunity to help provide creative development, notes and the shaping of stories, as well as looking into new stories we’re bringing onto develop, for C13Originals and C13Features, directly reporting to the Chief Content Officer of Cadence13.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The primary responsibilities of the Associate Showrunner for Cadence13 will be heavily involved in reviewing pitches, and shaping/developing documentaries within the C13Originals division and scripted features within the C13Features division. This includes, but isn’t limited to, working on show notes and story-arcs and true story development across both non-scripted and scripted divisions, as well as weigh in on story pitches, casting, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Help to identify and weigh in with feedback on new stories
• Provide notes and feedback for stories being developed
• Provide creative direction
• Work closely with creators on story development
• Work on casting decisions for scripted features
• Work on identifying the right director and production team for stories
• Reporting directly into the Chief Content Officer of Cadence13
Qualifications

Required:
• Bachelor Degree, MBA a plus
• Candidate should have a clear strategic creative vision around story telling in the categories of documentaries, and scripted
• feature-length stories
• Excellent communication and organization skills, and creative instincts and vision
• 5 years-experience in creative development roles in audio and/or television/film
• NYC of LA area based
