Executive Producer & TV Director is seeking development interns to join their team for a minimum of 3-4 days a week for 2020. Ideal candidates are intelligent go-getter type individuals currently enrolled or completed film school, are able to multi-task, and enjoy assisting the Executive Producer, Assisting occasionally on set, and are eager to work in an environment where their opinion truly matters and they can make a difference.??Day to day tasks include research and compiling lists of TV Producers, Programming Executives and decision makers who acquire television show content for TV Networks, Production Companies and Distributors, updating social media accounts, researching leads, writing coverage, corresponding to emails and reaching out to potential opportunities on Linked-In and other social pages.Your duties will also include administrative duties such as answering the phone and taking messages when necessary. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM and interns should be able to commit to 3 to 4 days a week minimum, have reliable transportation and bring their own laptop computer or work remotely.??
Our Executive Producer Kevin Michael Schmitz is well known for being the Producer, Director & Host of the TV Travel Show Great Escapes, that airs on NBC, CW, and worldwide on SkyVision. This is an opportunity to work remotely and make substantial income selling world class TV show concepts to networks and SVOD's such as Netflix, Apple TV, Facebook Watch, Hulu, and Disney +.
Our last TV Show Great Escapes featured 18 episodes around the world in the most ultra-luxury destinations such as the Bora Bora, Maldives, Maui, Kauai, Abu Dhabi, and Tokyo. One of our current projects in developing me is essentially Anthony Bourdain meets Great Escapes, in which each episode will be focused around the most incredible experiences in the world at ultra luxury destinations.
Our production company is a collaborative environment where interns get vital experience for the TV/film industry. We have a number of unscripted and scripted series and are in development on 3 specific productions in the travel and fashion lifestyle space right now. In addition, we have features and scripted series in early stages of development as well. - -
You will have the opportunity to communicate directly with Television Producers, Network Executives and Directors of Programming & Syndication. You will be a part of our production company and have the opportunity to become more well connected in the entertainment space.
