Specialist, XPression Programmer and Operation
Location: Atlanta Hawks Basketball and State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA
The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena are looking for a Specialist, XPression Programmer and Operation to program and operate LED systems, graphics, and video content for live sports and entertainment events.
Responsibilities:
• Program LED systems for events at State Farm Arena, including Atlanta Hawks Basketball, internal events, and College Park Skyhawks
• Operate Ross XPression, Ross Dashboard, and Daktronics Show Control for live events
• Develop templates and features in XPression Tessera and XPression systems
• Create, program, and operate Ross Dashboard according to live event rundowns
• Ensure quality control for graphic and video production, including fact-checking and research
• Assist with the operation of Daktronics outdoor displays using Venus Control Suite
• Perform maintenance and service on XPression and Daktronics equipment as needed
• Liaise with Live Programming and Global Partnership teams for sponsorship execution and coordination
• Handle file management, content organization, and other related duties
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Visual Media, or Computer Science (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in broadcast or sports entertainment systems, with expertise in XPression studio, Ross Tessera, and Ross Dashboard
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Visual Basic, Python, or Java
• Experience with Ross XPression, Daktronics Show Control, and Venus Control Suite
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to adapt to changing requests and work under pressure
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
• Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D Animation, and Motion Graphics experience
