We have an awesome brand at the Atlanta Hawks and we're looking to add to our marketing team for our growing affiliate leagues, the College Park Skyhawks (NBA G League) and Hawks Talon GC (NBA 2K League).
Summary:
The Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator, Affiliate Leagues will be responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies and activations for all College Park Skyhawks and Hawks Talon GC campaigns by specifically working with internal departments, external agencies, and partners. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main project manager for College Park Skyhawks and Hawks Talon GC marketing campaigns.
• Work with marketing and affiliate leagues leadership to develop season-long marketing strategies and activations to help drive ticket sales and build affiliate league brands.
• Coordinate and execute posting for Skyhawks and Hawks Talon GC social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitch).
• Social community management includes responding/engaging with fans and promptly forwarding complaints and questions to the appropriate team member.
• Tag social media posts and analyze campaign performance to optimize content calendar.
• Build and manage content calendar across all digital platforms including social, email, web, and mobile app.
• Serve as liaison with Corporate Partnerships team to deliver on corporate partner contractual assets.
• Work closely with internal creative and video teams to create compelling content that is strategically aligned to campaign and organization initiatives.
• Attend Skyhawks and Hawks Talon GC community events and games to gather content as needed. (includes nights and weekends)
• Support day-to-day updates to web and mobile platforms via CMS as needed.
• Cross-train and support Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena events as needed.
• Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
• Remain flexible and nimble to take on additional marketing responsibilities over the long term as opportunities become available.
Qualifications:
• Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills with good attention to detail.
• Project management skills: ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
• Passion and curiosity for the gaming industry.
• Passion for developing effective digital marketing content.
• The ability to coordinate and post to social media on behalf of a brand is preferred.
• Knowledge of basketball and pop culture is preferred.
• Comfortable with working non-traditional hours (i.e., some nights, weekends, and the occasional holiday may be required)
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising Or Communications.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a digital marketing role within a fast-paced organization.
• Experience with operating business social media platforms preferred.
• Experience using Adobe CS (Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, Illustrator) preferred but not required.
• Experience shooting and editing photos and video preferred but not required.
• Experience with content management systems a plus.
• Comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift rapidly; resilient and adaptive to change.
