Graphic Designer

Position Purpose

The Atlanta Dream is seeking a creative and highly motivated Graphic Designer to support team efforts through the design of forward-thinking, creative graphic elements that maintain the continuity of the brand. The successful candidate will understand the importance of strong communication skills and adhering to tight deadlines. Creativity, a positive attitude and attention to detail are musts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Execute graphic design projects including but not limited to sales collateral, advertising campaigns, digital graphics (website, social media and video elements), arena graphics, digital ads, merchandise design, logo design and presentation decks for internal departments
• Work closely with Digital Team to bring cohesion to all creative work
• Prepare appropriate files for printers and vendors
• Build and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization
• Creation of templated designs to help departments with turn-key collateral
• Game day duties will be assigned and will likely focus on live event production and live digital messaging

Qualifications & Education Requirements
• BS/BA in graphic design, art, animation, motion graphics or related field or demonstrated work experience
• Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably within sports, entertainment, or a consumer-facing brand.
• Passion for women's sports and alignment with the Atlanta Dream's mission and values.

Skill Requirements
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple simultaneous projects
• Demonstrate the ability to receive constructive feedback as a key part of growth and performance
• Advanced, fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Exceptional conceptual and creative skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with departments and clients
• Basic digital animation and/or photography experience a plus
