Position Overview: The Graphic & Motion Designer position will help build the Atlanta Dream brand through creative static and motion graphics.
In this role, the designer will be involved in shaping the Atlanta Dream's look and feel within the arena, online, in the community and all social media platforms. This person will need to be extremely versatile and have a firm grasp on graphic design, motion techniques and full-working knowledge of both print and digital production.
• Create and manage design concepts within the brand guidelines
• Lead internal designer for all Dream graphics
• Build motion graphics for social and in-arena usage
• Continually raise the bar on creativity, bringing fresh ideas that connect with our audience and drive active engagement
• Understanding of current social media trends and channels
• Start to finish ownership of content & content calendar across all digital platforms
• Ability to work across multiple departments to achieve a common goal
• Work with community and corporate partnerships departments to highlight these areas work
Preferences:
• Attend all home games and Dream events throughout the year
• Expert knowledge Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Cinema 4D)
• Experience designing motion and static graphics
• Ability to communicate and present ideas to peers and leadership
• Outstanding work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn
• Must be able to adapt to ever changing requests, design edits and/or revisions and must be able to take direction and produce an approved finished product in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail in planning and execution
• Integrity in the workplace
• Passion for sports, design and pop culture
• Prior experience in the sports field working with athletes and coaches
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
