Position Overview
The Game Operations, Fan Experience & Broadcast Director will lead the team that makes Atlanta Dream games happen, both in arena and on broadcast. Our Fan Experience in Gateway arena is unmatched in the WNBA and reflects Atlanta's energy, vibe and excitement at every turn. This position will report to the SVP of Growth. Our vision is to create the best game day experience in Atlanta. This position will execute that vision with inspirational leadership and exemplary communication skills which galvanize the efforts of a vast cross-functional team including business operations, vendors, broadcast partners, arena management, hourly staff, marketing, community, team leadership, and strategic partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the overall planning, preparation, and operational implementation of the entire Atlanta
Dream gameday experience from start to finish.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by building on successes and improving event execution and team communication throughout the season.
• Serve as the primary contact for Gateway Arena as well as manage relationships with clients,
vendors, contractors and all key internal and external key stakeholders to ensure our events run
smoothly.
• Serve as the primary contact for Broadcast network and production team to ensure quality
broadcast for every home and away game. This position does not travel, but will coordinate away
games from studio, and with talent if they're on the road.
• Lead and manage all logistical and operational aspects of a move into a larger arena in the
future.
• Develop a departmental strategic plan and budget, together with cross-functional leads, to
achieve organizational goals and vision ahead of each season.
• Develop and manage the budget for gameday operations, ensuring resources are allocated
efficiently.
• Manage all logistics related to gameday operations, including concourse activations, gate
experience, VIP entries, security, etc. to ensure a seamless and enjoyable fan experience. This
includes all event setup and tear down for each gameday and while coordinating with other
departments and stadium vendors to assure venue readiness for all events.
• Oversee our game experience agency (3Point) to help create meaningful fan experiences within
the game environment. This includes working closely with the marketing, ticketing and
partnership teams to determine theme games, ideate on game giveaway items, and overall
elements contributing to the fan experience.
• Work with marketing team to develop methods to collect and analyze fan feedback and data to
identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance the gameday experience.
• Be prepared to handle unexpected situations during events and have contingency plans in place
to address issues like emergencies, disruptions and inclement weather.
• Maintain key working relationships with Dream staff, patrons, and external constituents regarding
game days and outside events.
• Manage and oversee credentialing program from design to distribution.
• Manage Dream gameday staff on game days as well as media day and other scheduled events.
• Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.

• Must be available to attend all Dream home games. Games; events may take place on nights,
weekends, and/or holidays. (There are 20 home games in 2024)
• Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively
• Proficient in Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
• Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field is required
