Position Summary:
The Network Administrator position will be a member of the team responsible for the management, maintenance, and implementation of the Braves' network platform at Truist Park (GA), The Battery (GA), and the North Port (FL) facility. This position will work to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency while also implementing best practices for network operations and security.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Management and Support:
• Configure, manage, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement and manage VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation for security and performance.
• Conduct regular network assessments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Security and Compliance:
• Manage network security measures, including firewall rules, network access control (NAC), and VPN configurations.
• Regularly review and update security policies and access controls.
• Maintain compliance with organizational security policies and relevant regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI).
System Monitoring and Optimization:
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct periodic performance tuning and capacity planning for network systems.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance performance and security.
• Develop and deliver training for IT staff on network tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
Personal:

Education and Experience:
• • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, including hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network ) are highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure).
• Understanding of network security principles, including firewall policies, and remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, Cisco Catalyst Center, Thousand Eyes, etc.).
