Position Overview
The Atlanta Braves are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven People Capital (HR) Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources operations. Primary Responsibilities
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Support pre-employment processes, including background checks and onboarding requirements
• Provide backup coverage for pre-employment workflows as needed
• Monitor hiring progress and provide timely updates
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding logistics
• Ensure required employment documentation, including I-9 verification, is completed accurately
HR Operations & Compliance
• Track compliance requirements and maintain organized employee records
• Prepare employment verifications and routine HR documentation
• Follow established HR procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
HRIS & Data Administration
• Enter and update employee data in Workday with accuracy
• Run standard HR reports and verify data before distribution
• Track open tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion
Employee & Manager Support
• Respond to HR-related inquiries with professionalism and clarity
• Provide general guidance on HR processes and policies
• Support high-volume seasonal and part-time hiring cycles
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or operations experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Client-service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS
• Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal hiring
• Familiarity with onboarding and employment documentation processes
