Position Overview:
The Bar Supervisor is a leadership position responsible for the daily operations and guest experience of the stadium restaurant's bar and front-of-house areas as well as Spring Training bar locations. This role oversees all aspects of beverage service, inventory management, staff scheduling, and guest satisfaction. The Bar Supervisor ensures full compliance with alcohol service policies and safety standards, maintains cleanliness and presentation, and guarantees the quality and consistency of all food and beverage products served. This position also oversees the front-of-house team, participates in serving and/or bartending, manages scheduling, participates in setup and closing procedures, and collaborates with management to resolve operational issues and enhance the overall guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day protocols of the bar and front-of-house areas within the stadium restaurant, ensuring a consistently high standard of guest service and satisfaction.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local alcohol service laws, policies, and procedures.
• Manage inventory, including preparing order needs, receiving, tracking, and maintaining accurate stock levels of all beverage and bar-related supplies.
• Maintain quality control standards for all food and beverage items, ensuring accurate preparation and presentation according to recipes and specifications.
• Oversee and actively participate in daily setup and closing procedures, including cash handling, paperwork completion, and accurate reporting (requires basic math skills).
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained in all bar and front-of-house areas.
• Manage scheduling for all front-of-house staff, balancing labor efficiency with service needs and event requirements utilizing Sling software.
• Provide ongoing training, supervision, and performance feedback to staff to ensure adherence to service standards and operational procedures.
• Resolve guest issues and operational challenges promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen, operations, and event teams to ensure seamless execution of service during all events and activations.
• Contribute to operational planning and post-event reporting, assisting with strategies to improve service, efficiency, and revenue generation
• Help distribute regular departmental communication including call sheets, operational updates, and staffing plans.
